MUSIC UPLIFTS

In 2017 I created Music Uplifts, an organization whose mission is to leverage and promote the healing, therapeutic powers of music for Alzheimer's patients. 

In May 2018, I led a music fundraiser at my high school, sponsored by the Alzheimer's Association. This fundraiser raised over $5,000 to support the Alzheimer's Association's research, family support, and community awareness efforts. 

Mr. Matt Kurinsky (Chairman of Hinsdale Central Music Department), Mr. Matt Goeke (Band Director), and Mr. Bill O'Connell (professional drummer) performed a unique jazz combo. 

Indian classical music was performed by Ms. Padmini Rao (vocal), Mr. Puranlal Vyas (tabla), and Ms. Faith George (sitar).

I performed Mozart's Rondo All Turca on the piano. 

Ms. Deborah Powell performed jazz vocal.
