MUSIC
Music performance has been a major part of my life since a very young age. I have played piano since age 5, and have participated in all my school bands since the fifth grade.
Music is my outlet, my safe haven. It is my expression of creativity and connection to making beautiful sounds. Music is universal, and always makes people happy around the world. Music has been the foundation of my initiatives with Music Uplifts, serving to bring peace, healing, and comfort for many Alzheimer's patients. In essence music constitutes much of my identity and purpose!
Piano Competitions
I have participated in many music competitions through various organizations. I am particularly proud of my First Place award from the Illinois Music Association in May 2017. I played a Sonatina at this competition, and had worked for nearly one year to master this composition. It took a lot of hard work, focus, time and presence of mind to accomplish this goal!
